The title may denote that I require tech support of which I do not

It has taken quite a bit of time to find a place like this and now I am glad I found it. I enjoy Freespace quite a bit, but ever since I reinstalled the game, I went looking for more.

I am trying to find Freespace 2 as a CD, not a torrent but finding a store that still sells it is very, very difficult. If anyone can provide a place that would sell this game, do tell. Preferably a Canadian or non-exclusive American retail store would be quite useful. (Non-exclusive being it can be found in Canada).

The other option would be eBay but finding FS2 there is difficult and will most likely cost a lot of money.

Finding a CD would be very difficult. eBay would really have to be the best option for a CD but they can get expensive.

GoG is the best way to go if you don't mind it.

$50-80 for FS2 when I took a quick glance.

When I bought my FS2 as a CD on eBay about 2 years ago I just got for a mere $20.

BTW, doesn't GOG allow sold games to be burned onto a CD?

They don't seem to specifically mention burning their games to CDs, but since you are allowed to download the game as many times as you want after purchasing it, I doubt they'd complain about it.

I bought the British version of FS2 for 55Cdn. Try eBay, but it's really a rip-off. I'd suggest GoG.

And Good Old Games is certainly the most palatable option, being at least ten time less than Ebay.

The GoG version has no DRM, so it should be all right to burn it.

...in fact, DRM never existed in FS2 in the first place.

GoG specifically states that you can do whatever you want with any game you download once you've purchased it from them. Their EULA specifically gives you the right to do entirely as you see fit. I should know- I read it through.

I got it for Christmas, my brother paid $72 online. It gets expensive.
