Frankly all of these nightly builds and recent builds are rather confusing to me.  Could someone direct me to where to download a recent 3.10 build?
Thanks.

For now, this is the recommended build to use. :)

Personally I hope there won't be another gap as long as the time between 3.6.9 and 3.6.10... :nervous:

You aren't the only one.

Things will be getting better, methinks.

So, what made the delay so long?

An overly ambitious roadmap is my guess.  Instead of basing the release on getting a predetermined set of features this time, I think we'll just be moving to having a new release and bugfix cycle every couple of months.  The bugfix cycle will be much shorter then as well and the process for making release builds will get more streamlined and quicker.

For future reference, if you're looking to stay updated with your builds, nightlies are probably the way to go.  Worth noting that the trunk (what nightly builds come from) is quite stable.  Recent builds are mostly used to test out experimental features and patches these days.  Of course, though, none of that really matters until after 3.6.10 final is out.
