Anyway. I've been spending far too much time the last two days finishing an old project, and adding articles and links to the User-made ships page on the hard-light wiki. As far as I know, I now have them all. Of course I'm wrong, but after scouring every mod and FSmods.com this is what I found:

111 Fighters
46 Bombers
82 Capital Ships
52 Large Capital Ships
12 Super Capital Ships
38 Installations and Defence Platforms
37 Non-Combatants
10 Other (cargo pods and sentry guns)

All wiki pages come with a screenshot and a download link at the bottom. Hopefully the links all still work but who knows.




Though. . .
Be warned! Because many pages include ships and tech descriptions from actual mods, some ships may inadvertently be spoilers for various campaigns. But if you do what I do, and just look at the pictures, it shouldn't be too much problem.

PS - Oh, if you know of anything AVAILABLE for download, which does not appear on the Wiki list. Let me know (or better yet, add it yourself! hahaha).

I think you're missing the RLFr Margay and it's cargo container. (It's in the same pack as the RLF Panther and RLF Tigris).

There's also another pirate cruiser in ITHOV without a table file. It's a(n) (very) ugly thing though, and it can only be found by digging through its models folder.

Not sure if that even counts I only have a retextured version.

With other mods like Inferno and Inferno Alliance, Earth Defense, and Blue Planet's War in Heaven that have unannounced content, I'd say the number of ships is over 400.

I'm pretty sure it was released a while back (if not, ignore me).

There's also Esarai's Kvasir, that was released relatively recently iirc.
And TrashMan's Aten Mk2 (a modified HLC Defiler with the bottom spike removed and a more conventional beam cannon up front).

Oh yeah, I couldn't get the textures to display on this thing. So I didn't bother. Can anyone get a textured screenshot?? I think it's just from BSG reskin like the Odysseus but whatever. I might everything up there anyway.

I added the ugly Pirate ship and called it GTC Unknown. I didn't know what it was intended to be. (I added it before you mentioned it . . . hence the GTC designation)

That is true but the User Mod list is only for released content so once WiH and INFSCP and BWO gets out the door we can add those guys to the list. If you can't download it. It doesn't go on the list basically.

The HLC Defiler would be the Aten Mk. II under a different name and texture set.
Ignore that.

No, the Aten Mk II is different. It doesn't have the spike underneath, and it has it's...well mouth area turned into a beam cannon.

It was actually released a year or so ago, on Hades Combine, but since HC died, the download died with it.
