As Karajorma knows i've only ever seen one episode. I own a humble digital tuner the hw2 mod is the only knowledge I have of the ships aside from the viper and the big G. The aries was smaller than said G but it had stealth.

Completely different shows. The new one is one of the best TV shows of the last...well, sixty years or so.

I don't get it. I thought nBSG being reimagined meant it was still BSG.

They both have the 12 colonies, there's Cylons (Different origin between the two series), same characters (Ones a girl now), Vipers, Raiders, Battlestars, Basestars (Listed ships having lasers on one series and ballistics on the other), the plot is centered on an exodus fleet, how are they different?

What exactly is the point of coming to a forum that's obviously visited by BSG fans, making definitive statements about a show you've obviously never seen, then when people try to explain a few things about it, you simply state that you don't care?
No offense but if that's not trolling then I don't know what is.

Uh, belive it or not there's significant differences between what was used in World War I and World War II, not to mention the fact that there was an additional nation involved as well as major breakthroughs in technolical science, which is what I was referring to in my last post.

World War I and II weren't the same, in spite of sharing a bunch of superficially common elements. Nor are the two shows, except the difference between the shows is even bigger.
