I actually think HLPs moderation is infinitely better. Because I give VBB moderation a big, fat ZERO - so the moderation here must be infinitely superior :p

Thats impressive.  The only other place I've seen more than that was at Siegedom when it was up (homeworld and Gabriel Knight drifter community board).

It's true though, the moderation here is a million times better.

And I missed it. Just my luck I was at camp when they decided to shut down the VBB. ;)

I've said it many times before and it's probably worth it to say it again now: The HLP Way is not to ban or punish people who piss us off for a little while, but instead to build each other up and grow the community. That way everyone wins because the quality of the Forums skyrockets, and peacefully. So, that's the key, okay? Build each other up. Whether through telling people politely what they do wrong, offering constructive criticism or giving praise where it's due - do it. For everyone's good. :nod:

I saw the initial post about the closing but the number of new posts following that were just too many for me to read. (topics with new posts almost filled up three pages in a matter of hours :p) It seemed that everyone piled up over there right after the announcement was made. :D
