I have mod in the title because well, After Part 3 there will be Modifications like New Ships and Weapons so it makes sence, Also It doesnt go along with what possably is the Freespace Time Line

Um, Like the Homeworld Universe Vaygr, These guys Depend on Strike Craft, So you might face 5 Waves of a Squadran of lets say 6 Lokis, So if your againts the 5th Wave of like, 6 Lokis you would really WANT to stay near a Capital Ship with Flak Guns and Shoot them in the Prossess, Because if u dont Capital ship can die and well, so will you

Moreover, I'm concerned if it's fun or not. Fighting six waves of the same thing can easily become tedious and boring (and thereby poor mission design).

I thought this had nothing to do with Homeworld. If I recall correctly, HW2 Vagyr depended on Battlecruiser Spam (at least in the HW2 campaign...which would also be terrible mission design ).

Indeed they did. BC Spam, Frigate Spam, whatever they could get.

HW Vaygyr use a lot of corvettes and frigates (destroyers are suprisingly uncommon), it's only the second to last mission in which they spam Battlecruisers in quantities which are problematic.
Or at least, that's what I recall.
