But if it was built closer to the 2nd cylon war than its probably either a Mercury or Valkyrie class Battlestar.

Well, seeming the origianl one was destroyed in the final battle of the war, it may be a newer model (can't really give an estimate to which class, or a new class). Wasn't it said in the mini-series only 12 galactica type vessels where built? or was that just during the war?

Yes, the original Columbia was destroyed during 1CW. Yes, it was rebuilt. No, we do not have any information about what class she belonged to.

Galactica was part of the first original run of Battlestars built, presumably they later constructed more ships of that class.

Originally there were 12 battlestar built at the beginning of the war.Then later on dozens perhaps hundreds more were built.

Heres also another class that I dont see being modeled for Diaspora yet.Its the called the Berzerk class.Its not a battlestar but an escort.Its above the mercury class battlestar.


Back to Caprica.The next episode End of Line looks like its going to be the season finale.Does anyone know if its the real season finale or the mid season finale?

As for the Bezerk, it's a canon ship class, so chances are it will be in Diaspora in one of the releases (maybe not R1 though). I think the original design for the Bezerk was as an escort, but the model they used in Razor seems to be much more bigger than the fan-made design it was based upon

Is it me, or did that dog seem remarkably unfazed after it was shot by blank rounds? It was still sat there (like it always does) even after being shot 3 times!

Technically it wasn't shot since those were blanks. Unless you mean the sound should have scared him? Depends on the dog I suppose. Mine would be under a bed or whatever crawlable space she could find Then again there are dogs that are completely unimpressed by things like thunder or firecrackers at new years's etc.
Oh and me being a dog guy - I disliked Zoe before but since she was willing to shoot her dog just so she doesn't reveal herself to her dad my dislike turned into utter contempt.

Well, Zoe said she already knew they where blanks due to the guns weight (Scarry Cylon stuff!), and if they'd been real, she'd of shot Daniel.

Persoanlly, i dislike Daniel more right now after everything he put Zoe/The Robot through in the episode. Maybe I just dislike him for creating the robots that will wipe out most of humanity?

Not scary Cylon stuff. That's quite possible for us normal humans. It happened to me once at the range when somebody loaded in a set of blanks as a prank.

Especially when blanks can be lethal at close range.  Heck the dog should have been hit by the wadding and powder residue at that range.

Maybe theirs are super sci-fi blanks designed for your comfort? In any event the dog not getting too phased by blanks is not what I'd call a pivotal or even remotely relevant moment in the show
