  • Already told you people too much!
Religion is the product of the mass computation of 6.7 billion human minds.  As such, every religion has its own truths and wisdoms, and also has its own falsehoods.  To find the true religion, one must find what is true in each religion and combine the truths to form one extensive whole.  Except Scientology, which seems to have no wisdom at all, though maybe I'm not looking deep enough.

Wouldn't this be more like a philosophy? :p
You don't normally piece different deities... Except the route that BSG took and "god" or "gods" is a force of nature.

So, he's not a scientologist?

Is Battuta scientology? Or is scientology...Battuta?

Appearently neither. Well I admit, you had us fooled.
Had "us" fooled?  :drevil:

Actually 'god' in the case of BSG were a race of aliens who were manipulating humans much in the same way the Xel'Naga manipulated the protoss (very scientifically advanced, still prone to making mistakes)

Could be it was left very vague.  ;)

Yeah, but really 'god' is a terrible explanation for anything.  especially something that shows obvious flaws in planning (taking the humans off earth, raising them on kobol, messing up on kobol, eventually dropping the rest of the humans back on earth and taking a back seat on development)

That was the original BSG, IIRC. But don't forget about StarGate, where alien parasites used religions to enslave humanity.

Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.

You do realise that without some kind of qualifier us is generally taken to mean all of us rather than some of us, right?

Completely, deadly serious here. This is not a joking matter.

I seem to remember being called out for this sort of ambigious humor last week. :p

You've outdone me by claiming to be serious. Poe will send his ravens after you.
