If I couldn't play Freespace?

I'd play one of the other hundred or so games in my collection.

Seriously, FS is an excellent game, but my gaming life doesn't revolve around it.

If I couldn't play Free Space, I'd go to work and stay there.
All vista problems can be corrected, by upgrading to XP

In the extremely rare event that HLP goes pwnt, the shivians arrive and confiscate every single computer with FS on it as well as every single copy of FS anywhere and I can't play it again, I'd just move to the dozens (ok admitedly there are only 2-3 good ones) of other space sims out there. Oh wait I mean CONTINUE PLAYING the others. However if they take away ALL space sims that are twitch based on earth, half the world's population will kill themselves and they can then take over our planet.

There are plenty of other games I could migrate to. I'd miss the moddability and the nostalgia, but I wouldn't be totally shattered.
