I think it was called the Oculus, but either I'm no good at finding it, or it really isn't on FSMods or F2S. A quick 2-second search on the wiki doesn't bring up anything obvious either.

It had a fighterbay, giant rotating AWACS dishes at the centre and it was a HTL model iirc.

Does anyone have a link?

No idea i'm afraid, though i had a quick search and found (what i think is) a mention of it on this Polish Freespace Website. Don't know Polish sadly, but maybe someone with contact there could help you grab a copy of the file.

I helped make that, it ought to be up on FSMods. It had special textures too. I could definitely do a HTL job on it as it's probably my single favorite ship I've ever worked on, but I don't think I will unless it's being used in a campaign I have an investment in.

Huh, all the download links appear to have decayed. (It was originally made for DatDB, a collaboration between me, StratComm, and Sheepy.) Oh well, I guess I'll hang on to it.

I didn't know it wasn't HTL'd in the first place, and that screenshot up there somehow made the AWACS blue textures look worse than normal. And I keep thinking the model I had before (in a hard disk I can't access) was more detailed...

Oh well I'll just take it as the textures or someone's modelling skill playing visual tricks on me, making it look more detailed than it should be when I first saw it way back when... XD
