What bobboau mentioned was how this show appears put money before people in order of importance. That's why she was incessantly asked to continue despite possible and likely concussion.

Who in their right mind would have told watermelon face lady that she needs to continue aside from the host? I know i wouldn't.
The money gained from watermelon face lady must somehow offset the legal liability that this might have incurred for the show, unless certain papers were signed before competing on the show.

i have no doubt they were legally covered by waiver/whatever. 

of course she had the option of stopping, at the cost of forfeiting the competetion.
