O'Donnell lost.

YES
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I'm not even entirely sure who I voted for, to be honest, since there weren't any independent candidates to choose from, and I was too lazy to attempt a write-in.  The only state representative I cared about was running unopposed, so the whole thing felt like a massive waste of time.  We didn't even have any fun ballot initiatives. :p

would you have rather had it the other way around?

Rand Paul might actually be effectual. O'Donnell was clearly not going to be.

You really think it'll matter which letter winds up winning out the night?  We're equally ****ed regardless. I suggest the Nuke Plan. :D

Sweet! We can waste even more time and money with pointless inter-party 'us versus them' fighting! It's worked so well for the US that people repeatedly try to create the same situation in HLP. (By which I refer to anything that would put mods and campaigns in 'competition' but I digress...)

Well I'd rather have the GOP obstructing policy than writing it.

Now the Republicans are clamoring for reduced spending and smaller government? Where the frick were they since 2001? The National Debt was 83% of the GDP when Bush left office and somehow this is all the Democrats and Obama's fault.

No it's not. It's exactly what happens to the incument president's party every election cycle. Since the 1940s.

Nothing has changed. The only time there was a weird aberration was at one point in the 2000s post-9/11.

I was actually rather sarcastic with that comment. Policy will be ****ed up if Democrats or Republicans write it. Both parties have great ideas and both have abysmal implementation. Except now, those leaning Democrat have a hardier scapegoat.
