It is sort of strange how that works out. I've managed to get fairly adept at working my way up and over mountains, since I plopped myself down right in the middle of them, but it would be nice to have things a bit less steep, and it'd definitely be nice to have more height variation in other biomes. On the plus side, though, the current code makes for some fantastic-looking cliff formations.
Speaking of, Revenant, you're the one with the cool greenhouse and obsidian hut at the end of your subway, right? I didn't even notice it until I happened to be scrolling around the dynmap last night. It's only about a day's walk from where I'm set up, so Grimper and I wandered around a bit. The landscape around there is nothing short of spectacular.

It's funny, but I'm not even sure what the heck I'm doing at the moment myself. I've built a series of wooden platforms on cliff faces overlooking a valley, and I have this vague idea of a treehouse-esque complex, but I'm not even sure if it'll make structural sense. On top of that, I might be pushing the maximum height if I decide to make the thing too tall.
