Hmm...is there any way to track changes on the server/map?  Because there's a fairly significant hole right on the other side of the hill where my starting house is that I'm fairly sure wasn't there before the last day or so.  I knew about the large hollowed-out cave below it, but I don't remember being able to see in it from above.  I dunno, maybe my brain is just derping especially hard.

Why not just copy the folder you have to replace, and put it in a safe location. Swap out as needed.

My method just allows you to be on two different minecraft versions at the same time, so you can just change window from one to the other. Personally, that's what I'd do as it's what I already do (switching between two different servers)

I don't think you cna have 2 folders with the same name.....


Either way, now that the palace is going strong and the main roads are set, time to build all the buildings the city needs.
Everyone is invited to come and help out by building mediaval/fantasy buildings. Store room is full of necessary materials.

Just got to get qaz to flatten the city entrance and north(methinks) are so there's more room to work with.

In exploring my surroundings, from the road to Grimper's house and following the train tracks I came across the unfinished/under contruction Pinbalance Heights area, which was rather close to my Fort and it's surrounding area, to its east; Is it still being constructed, if so who's in charge? I wouldn't mind to lead a road to it if I find out it's status and who's working on it. ;)

I'm the one building it, and I do intend to complete it. I'm not sure how far I intend to keep it underground, can you screencap dynmap and show me how your road would run to it? It may have an effect on my decision.

I'm also working on an underground segment to New Trashmania.

I stumbled across another random people-playing-Minecraft YouTube channel by the name of Two Awesome Gamers recently.  They have a hilarious continuing set of videos where they take on the SkyBlock challenge map, with various disastrous results.  They also posted a design for a neat little trap door elevator that works in both directions.  Don't know if it'd be any use to the Fenris crew, but someone might find it interesting.

Oh right...this completely slipped my mind with all of the release talk, but Grimper and I discovered what could be a really fun little game the other day.  We were riding the same rail, and Grimper wondered what would happen if were to shoot arrows at a moving minecart.  I was happy to oblige, and as it turns out, hitting someone in a minecart with an arrow breaks the minecart, just like a sword would.  That led me to the inevitable: Battlecarts!  Set up a twisty closed loop of track, have two or three people ride on it at once, give them bows and arrows, and have at it.  Last person still rolling wins!

Ha, that does sound awesome. With glass above the dome and a good view over the area a 3rd of 4th person could also oversee it. Putting pillars and objects between the mine carts could help too so you have to wait for the right time to fire and such. Hope to see this idea worked out, it's always good to have more and new things for people to do.
