Ya know, I've been planning to make a YouTube tour of the HLP server, but I've yet to find time to do it. :(

Well, it would be great to see one made, even for players that haven't visited the server much or haven't explored as of late, as you know various areas, like your New Trashmania and my own area are evolving rapidly. :)

On that subject, I do suggest people to check out above areas soon, hope to show around myself.

I've heard of this rumour before and according to notch the secret is still yet undiscovered, one rumour I've heard of a room full of diamond and a cake in the middle but does anyone have any ideas of what this Easter egg is or could possibly be?

Could possibly be talking about the skylands..they don't come up that often and unless notch has been watching the forums he might still assume they are undiscovered.

Think it's more likely that either whatever it is has already been discovered (since people regularly trawl through the code base as part of mod making, they would notice something like that) and notch hasn't noticed, or he's just trolling us.

Jungles are fun. Perfect for a style of home I haven't tried before: Tree House

It wraps around behind there and off to the left to skirt the desert, should be able to keep it going a ways.

I once made a tree-house by force-growing normal trees into large trees. Not quite the same, of course...

I'm (eventually) planning to have my setup be a house supported by trees, but that's not quite as literal.  It looks like those things nearly build themselves.
