So... Betrayal is a cool word but it sounds not cool. A bit malevolently.
Can you change my nickname to Teeraal?

Just kidding. Iirc, the admins changed a nick in the past, chances are, you get your nick changed.
Where's the new name ( Teeraal) coming from, if i may ask?

You should write a formal request to one or more administrators detailing why your username should be changed. If the request is valid enough, they might do it.

Alternatively ***** about it on the IRC channel and eventually an admin will get frustrated and change it. Or at least that's what I did. :nervous:

Teeraal is the coolest demon name I've ever heard. Demons doesn't exist, but they have cool names :). I was using it on various forums, games and others.

I've contemplated asking for my nick to be changed to "Polpolion" because "thesizzler" just reeks of "fourth grader that couldn't think of anything better for his AIM nick," but I'd just feel so bad betraying my  own name like that. I don't see how you guys were able to do it.  :(

Same goes for me, I'd like to have it changed to just FSF now - but I don't care enough to write a formal request :blah:

If I could have, I would have chosen "Top Gun" back in the day, since that's my name on pretty much every other forum I've ever registered on...but some other schlub here already had it, and now that we have a Topgun, it'd just be far too confusing.

(The really funny thing is, I was trying to go for "Goose" originally, since that's actually something from the movie, but I had a bit of memory fail.  Thus, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. :p)
