That's what I was thinlking. With a diminishing habitat, where are they going to live? It's like we bring them back from extinction so that we can watch them become extinct a second time.

That's what I was thinlking. With a diminishing habitat, where are they going to live? It's like we bring them back from extinction so that we can watch them become extinct a second time.

I think it's more likely that they're being brought back to secure fame and funding.  'Made-a-mammoth' will look great on their resume.

Correct, the driving off a cliff thing was Bison, or Buffallo, at least, something that began with 'B'.

Ironically enough, it's often believed that the over-hunting of the Mammoth by the Environmentally friendly Native Americans was a large contributor to their extinction, in fact, it's also believed that it was that which prompted them to adopt a more symbiotic role towards nature.
