Reasons behind reasons, well he did sort of? What i stated was the reason why his disciples could eat with ritually unclean hands.

Because no food can make you ritually unclean, because it only enters the body, then leaves. It does not enter the heart and thus cannot corrupt, however evil thoughts can, but these come from inside a person, not from the food they eat. Therefore, all foods are fit to be eaten.
