Hello!

Finally decided to stop lurking and actually start posting something here 

Job you have done is so amazing that it inspired me to try to make my own models and after some hard work and many mistakes I finally came up with this. It is hybrid human-vasudan heavy assault bomber or something.





Still WIP, especially in the wings area, but I would appreciate if you would tell what you think about it.  This is my first ship but also in practice one of first models that I have ever created because I started learning 3ds max only few weeks ago. So dont be too harsh 

And thanks for awesome job everyone! I have really enjoyed your mods and campaings!

This is a really cool mesh. Ditch the Terran aspect, though, there's way too much fanmade Terran crap already. Do Vasudan/Shivan/alien stuff.

Hmm, make the fuselage longer. I don't know if I like how the engines are placed...

It already looks different enough to not be Terran. Awesome! Looks anime-ish, though.

Not bad. Geometry on the main hull could use a bit more detailing, but pretty nice.

Also, protip: If it doesn't fit into the Terrans, Vasudans, or Shivans that well, most people will say it looks anime-ish even if it does or doesn't.

The detailing is awesome, but the main body, as has been stated, needs to be increased in detail (or smoothing). Unfortunately, it doesn't really look like any existing Vasudan ships- even a T/V ship, really.

Personally, given the awesome detailing, and the kinda hot-rod look of the thing, I'd say maybe convetr it into a civilian/pirate type fighter?

I personally think that they help differentiate the ship from normal Terran/Vasudan/known species, makes it unique and different.

Pirate theme would be great but I want this ship to by be in quite good condition. Not made from scrap metal and junk. I personally like terran elements, especially exhausts, so maybe it would be best to make it somekind of elite civilian craft because of quite heavy armament.

Perhaps it could have been an elite mercenary & protection team as Epeo suggested, but then they decided that they could make more money by going Pirate, which would make the bat-wings feel a bit more appropriate.

Vasudan elements have crept into Terran ships design by FS2. This could simply be the reverse.

Little update. I added few details and smooth. There are few ugly looking parts on fuselage because of bad geometry but I fix them after my vacation.  Also if you have good name suggestion for this thing please tell it.


I hope that someday I find good rendering setup
