I was looking at the stuff I did this year, and I thought it'd be nice to share a couple drawings with you all So voila, enjoy :



subject was "year 3xxx " (don't remember the exact date, but who cares, it was future, that's all ). Got 10 out of 20, I did crap for half the course, then decided I'd better do something before the bell rang, so it was a bit rushed, many flaws, but still I think it's not that bad.



this one i got 11/20 ( disapointed, I hoped I'd have more ).
Subject was "ruin". I think it's cool, one of my favourites this year.

yeah right. when you 'll sleep only 3 hours every night coz you have to do 8 drawings with chinese ink on a 60*75 cm sheet, you'll come back to me.

bah... i'ù just in a bad mood (I've been in a bad mood the whole year anyway, don't ask)... I was just expecting some comments about the pics themselves... guess it was too much asking, thx god I didn't waste more time scanning other pics.

Very nice. What were those drawn with? (they don't look like standard pen or pencil stuff) Also, what's that motorcycle-like thing in the first picture?

Agreed! But still, nice drawings again.

I like the ruin, it has many different shades to give it a 3d feeling, but some of the shadows could have been a bit darker though... I guess. The stokes give it a nice "dirty ruins" feeling

The 3xxx is a bit too bright and flat I guess... at least if you compare it to the ruin. But still not a bad one.

You've always been good dude - these are no exception, I love the feel to them (believable yet different from reality).

The first one has atmosphere, I like it a lot - especially the concept for what I take to be the road lighting system... The bike itself is awesome, I can imagine it going "flat" as it gathers speed then folding up again as it slows down to allow for sharper control. The jet looks a little alone in the sky, some more buildings could've been cool but that might've detracted from the bike.

I love the second one. I wasn't sure if I would when it was loading but it really does kick ass. Tell me - that cloud in a the background, was that specifically a mushroom cloud or was that just how it turned out? The ruin itself is great - lots of detail on the ink and everything. That bit just below the bird looks like a person with a little imagination, great work.

Overall - 5/5 - you still got the talent
