I'm sure that if GS had a problem with us discussing this they'd email us before screwing things up. Besides I think this is people being a bit paranoid :)

Because we didn't want to.  Simple as that.  There used to be a FS planet site if I'm not mistaken, way back before VW started up.

Gamespot used to be my favorite game site about a year ago because of their (usually) top-quality reviews, but I have not visited the place at all for months ever since they started this stupid practice. Fileplanet also used to be pretty good about two years ago (I used to get a lot of UT maps from there) but at this point I think it has become the worst download site out there, and maybe the worst large gaming site as well. :doubt:

Maybe because I'm not a FPS gamer, and thus don't deal with massive communities, but I never have a problem with Fileplanet.
