I use the name DragonClaw  (go figure)   I use the ingame multiplayer query deal, I'm never gonna use GameSuck or anything similar.

I usually get on around 9pm EST for bridge commander online, so you guys can look for me if I'm on.

Just not sure since the demo refused to work on my system...the game loaded to black........and stayed black......I guess it's a captain's first goal.....find the bridge during a power failure

Check your display drivers. After I had to format my comp about a week ago, it refused to play (it started loading, then quit). After I downloaded new Detonator XP drivers, worked fine.

Yea I've just reinstalled the demo since i remembered updating my Vid Card drivers the other week. So if it works out well I might run to the mall and grab the discount version of the game

Well......so far the Demo works like a champ

hehe I'm about to even test a little "mod" on it,..changed all the Akira's entries over to the galaxy entries since that's the only ship in the demo you can use on the Fed side in QuickBattle mode.

Figure it'll either :
A: Work
B: Crash the game

I thought the game would simply load the Akira as the galaxy as long as everything was swapped ...ie all Akira files renamed to Galaxy....but nope...Illegal Actions on game load.

*sigh* Guess I'll have to wait to buy it to play with the real fun ones

If you want to play using an Akira in the real game, d/load the SDK and edit the entries to say "Akira" as opposed to "Sovereign" or "Galaxy".

At first I got as far as setting up a quickbattle...on scanned through ships ...I clicked the shuttle out of curiousity....game froze....reboot...scandisk...restart BC...blackscreen....more blackscreen....yet more blackscreen.

yet the damned demo ran like a dream.

Currently searching  for the game's patch online in hopes it helps somewhat.
