Are you asking about FS1 area of the timeline or to work with the FS1 game engine?

If timeline then http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Campaign_List is a good place to start

If you are asking about mods what work with the FS1 engine, then there are very few around and I would suggest buying FS2 from gog.com and installing the SCP upgrades on top.  once you have done that you can download FS-Port, which is a mod that bring FS1 to the FS2 engine.  with all that in place you can use any Great War era mod.  See my above link for what is available

I don't think there are that many FS1 campaigns in existence. And most of them should be ported so that you can play them with FSO and FSPort.

I know there were campaigns for FS1, certainly more of them than just 3, but aside from ports, it may be impossible to find them.
Maybe FSCRP has some sort of archive with original versions of ported campaigns, it might be a good place to ask.

That's why I suggested talking to FSCRP, it's our best bet when looking for old campaign backups.

Uhh no, because FSport IS Freespace 1.
If you want the retail FS1, grab it from GoodoldGames.com.

Wrong.

By many aspects, including gameplay-related aspects, FSPort diverges from FS1. I mainly think about AI, shield management, and aspect seeking/countermeasure efficiency. FSPort is what it claims to be, aka a Port of FS1 under the FSO engine, and it isn't 100% FS1.

Umm, no. Noone "has" to restore old campaigns, especially when said restoration involves porting a campaign from FS1 to FS2/FSO.

Nearly all of the campaigns I assume you would be looking for have been updated to FSO and added to the Released Campaigns Thread under "FSPort Campaigns."  Much thanks to ktistai228 for going through the old archives and getting them all up to snuff.

Okay, easy guys.  WouterSmits, I have a decent number of FS1 campaigns lying around that I downloaded several years ago (I honestly don't think I've even played most of them).  I didn't realize that FSMods had so few of them available, so I'll try to go about uploading what I have.

Edit: Hoo boy...some of these old campaigns are an utter mess in terms of how they were released.  Combinations of installers and compressed files, nested .zips...this could take some doing.
