On another notce, I noticed my wall goes too far on the lower end. doesn't line up with the part that eand near the town. Will have to tear down that section too.


Oh, to explain what I planned:

Purple is hte railline (2 -way) going along the wall with several stops.
Red is hte underground portion of hte railway

Except you've hit the point where you've gone past big enough into so big it offends other people. It's a large wall that covers a large amount of land while not really offering any benefits for anyone aside from you, and from what I've heard, it actually makes things harder for a few.

The offending part doesn't bother me really.

If you didn't build anything or marked an area, then you can't really claim it. Taking a whole valley for yourself without actually building anything in it - that is not possesive?
Being close? Half the building on the server are right next to eachotehr - the whole town is like that.

There is no real rule as to how high, how long and where. The only rule is if enough people are bothered by it (for watever reason, it's not really important), and if the mod/op decides to do something about it or not. That's it.

What if I had a hosue next to the Fenris. And Fenris blocks my view? And only complained after half of it was done?


I only see one real problem with the wall - that it passes too close to BF's lake.
That can be fixed.

Actually...qaz used some tool to move my T-tower (why?). He could probably move the entire wall section further away from the lake.

And there ARE enough people bothered by it, virtually everyone I have spoken to has had negative comments about the wall, the fact that you are the only person defending it in this thread should be proof enough that it needs to go, and shall be within the next 9 hours.

They say it is ugly? Beauty is subjective for one. For another, it is not compelte. Does the Fenris look anywhere near as pretty as in-game model? No. Well it's not done yet.

They say it does not fit the theme? I know the theme better than them. The theme is 40K, where everything is larger than life. The Imperial palace takes a whole continent. The walls height is measured in kilometers. The wall fits the chosen theme.

They say it does't flow with the land? Who sez it should? Man conquers terrain, not the other way around.


At the end of the day, it is your server. I will move it, I will take parts of it down if necessary, and so on.

But I WILL NOT agree that it's ugly, that it serves no purpose. Not now, not ever. Those who hate it or diagree can go cry me a river. You didn't ask for my aesthetic approval when you built your stuff, I'm not askign for yours.
