MW3 dumbass with a real gun
Found here.

Quote from: the article
Court records gave this account:

Morales went to the store shortly after midnight to buy the game but became discouraged by the long line of customers. He then considered “taking it from somebody so that he could get it for free.”

That’s when Morales spotted Adam Freeman leaving the store with his reserved copy of the game. Morales allegedly followed Freeman to his apartment in the 2000 block of N.W. 68th Terrace. When Freeman pulled into a parking lot stall, Morales allegedly parked his red Ford Explorer behind him, blocking him in.

Freeman stepped out of his car when a young man wearing a hood approached and “racked a round” in his gun.

“Give me the game!” the gunman ordered.

“(Expletive) you!” Freeman replied.

The gunman racked another round, causing the first round to eject and fall on the ground. Freeman grabbed the gun’s barrel and pushed it back toward the gunman. The pair struggled briefly before the gunman climbed back into his vehicle and sped away.

Freeman ran to his apartment and called 911.

I dont know whats more sad. that the victim was almost robbed for his copy of MW3 or that the victim fought him off for the copy. . .

Re: MW3 dumbass with a real gun
when the fight or flight response kicks in its kinda hard to actually stop and think. if you read the article he says that. but im rather impressed that he was able to fight off a robber, who had him outgunned and still manage to come out of it alive. as an added bonus the ****tard leaves a round (which likely has his prints on it) at the scene. he obviously showed ignorance of firearms and his supposed victim capitalized on it. ****tard goes to jail and victim keeps his life, property, and dignity.

Re: MW3 dumbass with a real gun
The robber was in it for robbery through intimidation. Chambering a round  once didn't intimidate, chambering a round the second time made robber look like dumbass. The guy being robbed just happened act accordingly; he may have known deep inside the robber was just about flashing a gun and nothing else. Even if not, he still acted accordingly getting the gun out of his face, and that's cool.

But, there is still that moment of being unsure when you have a gun or knife in your face.

Tell me you didn't get the game for free with "third time's the charm" chambering rounds on someone.

Let's look it another way, Call of Duty and movies have saved Mr. Freeman's life for giving the wrong interpretation of gun handling ;)
I'm all about getting the most out of games, so whenever I discover something very strange or push the limits, I upload them here:

Yeah but it would have been safer to let him keep racking rounds till he emptied the magazine :P

Re: MW3 dumbass with a real gun
I agree. Honestly the only time i've seen people eject a round after they've already chambered one are the noobs who are getting familiar with their fire arm's operation at home (while of course not firing the thing).

Well would you be more likely to hit the center mass of a paper target firing any weapon from the hip, or actually looking through its sights? :P

Re: MW3 dumbass with a real gun
anyone know what kind of weapon he was using? i get the impression it was a bolt action rifle or a shotgun but the article was kind of vague about this. attacking with a rifle at close range is a very stupid way to engage a target. seems he didnt place himself far enough back to have effective control of the weapon. and the ****ing around with the bolt would make an inexperienced person drop his aim. i had a hard enough time with that in my last batch of hunting exploits. last year i took out a buck near point blank, so it was a one shot deal, but all the bucks ive seen this yer were at range. the time it takes to chamber a new round and find your target is not as fast as you might think, and it cost me a kill. at close range this is less of an issue though, but stilla bolt action rifle tou need to use your trigger hand to jack a round in, meaning your taking your finger off the trigger, and if your gun isnt well maintained you might have trouble chamberlain a new round and could take a second or two. you give your victim a window in which to act, and combined with the short range, he needs less to take control of the weapon. now a handgun or a pump action shotgun can chamber a round with the left hand and no loss of target is required. then of course on top of that a lot of people hesitate the first time they need shoot to kill something.
