Well they didnt because i consulted them first, first the topic warns you and then you must click the links.
Why does SOF2 have so much gore? Because i quote "GHOUL II Technology provides Ultra-realistic damage modelling". A shotgun in this game, does the damage a shotgun in real life would do. When you shoot someone there is blood, unlike MOHAA. Also the game isnt just gore, its got super AI, good graphics and the famed Random Mission Generator. Which like its RTS counterpart generates maps to play on which are different each time. Also these shots are quite low intensity, there isnt any dismemberment or leg bones. No one has said anything about flesh or bones. Also when you shoot these portrayed people they dont feel pain, yes the motion captured death animations portray that, but it doesnt really happen. One of the main things this game does is open you up to the fact that i quote "It should be noted that Soldier of Fortune II is a realistic depiction of modern combat and warfare. As a result, this game contains scenes that may not be suitable for all audiences. If you do not wish elements of a violent or graphic nature to be displayed while playing Soldier of Fortune II, we have provided controls with which you can adjust the level of violence in the game."
