No, I haven't bothered hunting with images. But you can find them if you look. After all, the bigger a franchinse/universe gets, and the more people work on it, the bigger the chances people with ideas and tastes that you don't like or that clash with the setting will come.

How many writers are there for the SW EU? Yeah, a veritable flood of bad stuff is bound to happen without a strong leading hand that will enforce a specific vision. Too many cooks spoil the meal, as the old saying goes.

You realize that the only reason the rebels at the end of the SW IV were human was because George had to pull back from his original idea to make them all Wookies, right? That furry critters like Chewie were basically the point of Star Wars, and the 'noble savage' archetype story that he wanted to tell, which he eventually did tell in ROTJ with the Ewoks, and again with the Gunguns in Ep 1...
