Well was getting confused on ship sizes so I threw all my fighters into one image and this is what i got...

There's an option somewhere to control how it resizes things... you can either select a maximum resolution or a max of 1 MB filesize (I think).

Ya it used to be there, but then they "upgraded" and everything went down the toilet.  It's more or less broken in opera, it appends random characters to filenames, making it harder to link up several images at once.

Does the Liberator even fit into hangars?

The enterprise and coral sea have special hangars meant for larger ships including the liberator.  Although it might fit in some of the other larger hangars too.
Also compared to the big ships the liberator isn't very big.  Look at the second pic, top row, forth one in.

Is the capship on the top row, six along, designed like that so cargo containers go along its hull? Or is it shaped like that for another reason? I ask because it reminds me of a cargo ship from Edge Of Chaos.

13 from the left (righ of the Epee) - Testers F-19 Nighthawk (course didn't exist, too bad cause it was cooler looking than the real F-117)
