*Thinks back*

Ok i may be completely wrong about this but here goes.

Worf is in this movie, yes we know this
Worf is in DS9, yes we also know this, BUT when worf 1st appears in DS9, i cant remember who, but some ones says to him that they are sorry to hear about the Enterprise, it was a truley great ship (or summit along those lines).

So if this is set before that time in DS9 i assume the ship does get blown to bits.

Well its either that or they just asked him if he wanted to join the crew for abit (alot of that seems to go on in starfleet).

Worf was assigned to DS9 after D got blown up and was supposed to stay there until the E was finished but he took partial command of the Defiant and was stuck there until the end of the Dominion War. Now he's the Federation Ambassador to Qo'nos.

Finally, if the E is destroyed, the F will probably be an upgraded Sovereign, perhaps with that ablative armor and the new torps seen in the Voyager finale?

The flagship is always the second or third in a class so I'm guessing it'd be a Prometheus or some newer more ass-kickin ship with transphasic torps and ablaitive generators.

And there's a thing. The Romulans wouldn't stand a chance. The Enterprise would most likely be fitted with the torps and could blow the **** outta a Warbird with one shot.

Dead Galor if you hit it in the right spot... Dead Keldon too...
Hit it right around the warp core... the first Phaser blast will weaken its shields, first quantum will weaken them even more... the next three will punch through, impact the hull, and blast through, another phaser blast.. bam.. dead...
As for the Transphasic, I never saw those episodes....

Voyager Finale: Voyager, all ablaitived up, takes one a ton of Borg ships (who can get past the ablaitive armour) and takes 'em down with like one or two shots.

Well yeah, during the Dominion War. But Voyager got the torp and armour from future Janeway.

Nah, the Prometheus is screwy. I'd like to see that Galaxy that they used in "All Good Things...." as a new ship in the fleet. Fast, powerful, big ass-kicking phaser cannon. Put the torps and ablative armor on that baby :eek2:
OC, that probably won't happen, due to the fact it's an alternate timeline....

I'd like to see an Akira-class starship. They kick much ass, yes.

Aren't you people assuming that they'll make another Trek movie in that time span? As it's been pointed out the stories of DS9 and Voyager have found a conclusion, so they'd have to step back to the Enterprise era, and you can forget your high-tech stuff there!

Now, Archer is cool.

Well, let's look at the candidates suggested here:

Prometheus Class

Arnament:
18 Phaser Arrays
5 Torpedo Tubes
My Opinion: An Intrepid on steroids. The splitting into three is the nice feature here. Probably the equal of the Retrofitted Galaxt in battle.

Akira Class

Arnament:
3 Phaser Arrays
15 Torpedo Tubes
My Opinion: Looks nice, but too close the the Miranda and Nebula class ships. Powerful, and with a carrier capacity. Bit light on phaser power though.

Retrofitted Galaxy Class

Sorry about the two pics, had to get a view of both the modifications.
Arnament: (Note: Speculation)
1 Heavy Phaser Cannon
16 Phaser Arrays
3 Torpedo Tubes
My Opinion: That phaser makes the ship worthwhile, and is a very good compliment to the transphasic torpedos. Pierces the shields of enemies easily. Also, a nice set of phasers. In addition, it mounts a cloaking device.

All information and pics from the Daystrom Institute Technical Library.

EDIT: Forgot the cloaking device.

Yes, but Enterprise would still be making episodes. ~3-4 years from now = 4th or 5th season, and all the other Trek series other than TOS have run 7 seasons.

Akira's are nice ...but no way are they Enterprise nice.

IF they made a new movie or series and did up a "F" in the line ...and they stick true to current form..it would be a completely new design..as nearly each Enterprise was.

As for ending the movies ...I don't see a logical reason...the ST movies STILL bring in a fortune.
