Yeah, there will be a nose turret Snipes (and even one behind the cockpit, look carefully the concept pic  

 

It's not finished yet, but there's already a pb lol: the vertice count (yep, I never have pb with the polys, only with the vertices  )
already 840, because of the max-->3ds conversion. So, is there a way to weld veritices in TS? 3ds3 deosn't support face mapping, but both 3dsmax and ts does, so...?

ah.oh. Watchdog is neither from the same series. And why Fenris (a wolf), Loki (character from the legend of the nibelungen ring) and Mjolnir (magic hammer)? All other GTVA names are from the Greec mythology.
Ursa is the name of a constelation in english, right? In french, it's said "ourse", aka "bear"(female). The grizzly is a big bear, so I call my ship grizzly coz for me it looks like a big ursa. For me it's sensible, if it's not never mind, I like this name anyway.

Oh, please post in the other thread now, coz 2 posts for the same thread, it's a little too much (I know it's my fault).

Yeah, the GTVA naming convention is hardly graven in stone. what about the Leviathan, thats not greek. Myrmidon is greek, but not mythological. the Shivan ship classes use demons and monsters from pretty much every tradition. So don' be bustin his chops eh?

Fenris, Loki and Mjolnir are all Norse legends. So they chose another mythology to pick some cool names from, so what?

Ursa is a mytological bear. I don't exactly remember where it's from, either nordic or Eskimo.

the nameing precident for tarren craft is to use greek OR norse mithology, generaly norse names are given to traderus factions with the exeption of some FS1 ships. none of the set precidents use anamal names.

and Watchdog doesn't count becase it sucs so bad.
