Welcome to the HLPBB, Borealis.  And pay no mind to the others (well, except for Shrike ;) ).  Once you get used to them they don't seem near as bad as they want you to believe. :D  Although it looks like you're settling in nicely already.

If you have works of art you want to put up and let everyone enjoy, then by all means check out the Art forum.  And if you're feeling bold, you can take a stab at Node Wars...kinda a Freespace take on Dungeons & Dragons.  NW is looking for a few good men *and women* as players and as concept artists, since one of our resident renderers is making a little movie based on our antics in-game. :D  Although we haven't heard anything from him recently...

Most of the campaigns are looking for people with experience with modeling/texturing and mission creation.  If you think you can help out, drop a line and see what happens.  Although don't get like some and start collecting avatars...:rolleyes::p

Oh, and something else (as you may have noticed by now), topics here go from zero to off-topic in 4.3 seconds. :D
