Jamming to some Iron Maiden and Velvet Revolver, and starting to get into Evanescence. Velvet Revolver's instrumental is definitely spot on, but that's because they're basically the original GNR with Scott Weiland in place of Douchebag Rose. But I don't like Weiland so much. Honestly I think Bruce Dickinson would be a great vocalist for Velvet Revolver, but I know that ain't happening.

i have no idea why RHCP were the "special guests" and weren't just the actual halftime show.  bruno mars wasn't terrible like so many others have been, but not good either.  just bland pop.  what WAS terrible though was the dude's hair.

I've been exploring a few Vocaloid songs. This one has rather upbeat instrumentals for a song about losing a loved one...

I'm planning to have a listen to some of the other Vocaloids some time, too - I've only really listened to Hatsune Miku so far.

Deep Space Bass by Joe Boyd Vigil. It's the Toonami soundtrack. If you like deep spacey ambience (ala FreeSpace) and you like Drum & Bass, definitely give this a listen.
