This turned up in my twitter feed. It is not at all related to BP, except on a thematic level, which is why I thought I'd link it here:

  • There comes a time when the odds are against you,
Reminds me for some reason of Monstrous Regiment when Jackman says that he "has been in a few last stands. They never end well."

I often wonder how combatants feel once the adrenaline and euphoria of victory has died down. Would the see and respect the comradeship of their defeated foes? Would they only feel hatred and dispair at having to kill them. Would they feel scorn that they did not surrender when they had a chance?

Spoiler:
As a UEF supporter I hope that this is thematic level is in reference the ending of Delana est Carthage and not the end of act 5  :shaking:

Tired and drained with relief and general lethargy and underlying drive to regroup.

Always +1 for Subnormality. This comic in particular absolutely smacked me in the face the first time I read it.

I can say with honestly I have never read a comic like that before in my life.  Weird, but interesting.

A lot of 2000AD comics dealt with similar issues. They might be hard to find online though as most were written in the 80s

I've emulated that feeling during RTX's (Regimental training exercises) decades ago, my tactics were naive, and my armour was definitely not thick 😭😭😭

This is somehow surprisingly resembling some of the r/HFY stories I've been reading lately.

Cool, I guess.
