second one obviously but if you want my opinion make lips more red, add some blood on tooths(?) and maybe add some more painintgs like devils hands on the fore side cannons or something like this..maybe some paints "enola gay" style too, like  the  style of some ww2 usaf bombers

is the best I can find.... it's a slightly altered map (damaged) with bump mapping, but the teeth are the same.

Aldo, THAT'S the new Claymore Mark I????? It looks incredible!

Still, though, call me an old-fashioned conservative, but I prefer the ship without the teeth. The latest shot you did (post right before mine) looks pretty cool, but I'd like to see another comparison, this time not using closeups. A new shot of the newer teeth would be useful for me to make a better decision.

All the same, the new Claymore looks amazing! I'll admit, I had my doubts when you said you were redesigning it, but you've made a believer out of me!

Just a Claymore, actually.... there's only one now.  It's got 5 LODs ala the B5 stattion, so the polycount doesn;t impact too much......

Waitaminnit, waitaminnit, there's only one Claymore now? No mark I and Mark II, just the single thing on the above image you posted here? If that's the case, then DEFINITELY get rid of the shark teeth logo!

Having the teeth on the Mark One I was fine with because the teeth were NOT present on the Mark Two (the better-looking fighter, IMHO). If we're only having a single version of the Claymore, then I don't think the teeth should be present on the new MOD.

Just my two cents.

No...I talked to Icefire - the B5 project are using 5 for the station - and apparently it seems to work.  I've not had any crashes sofar....  and if it ignores the 5th LOd it's ok, because the more detailed LOD3 is still being used at a reasonable distance.

And the teeth stay.  I like them a lot, specshially (;)) in close formation.  It's also by far the best looking fighter in Reciprocity now = cos I changed my mapping style for it -  which is a wee bit of a shame as it puts the others to shame.

I've always loved these birds, and being a Scot also, I love the name for it.

Here's a thought: Why not include *both* maps with the download? That way Joe Fanboy can decide on the one he prefers for hisself.

In fact, why do a bunch of them with different logos or nose art. I have quite a bit of nose art graphics that I did for Battlemechs floating around here that may work out pretty nice.

An actual Claymore insignia on the bird would prolly be really nice too.

The teeth one, but only if you make it smiling.

And it's a bit too bright. The teeth COULD work, but paint-ons only really look cool if they look beaten up... kinda scratched, faded, something like the insignia in the FS2 intro, or a few other movies I could mention... and darker, of course.

For the Rec, the lips look to much like they have lipstick on them or something.. not really scary unless you are thinking of Transvesite Fighters..

Too late... it's done, and the teeth are vastly different on the final map anyways.
