Segeltuch is slightly easier for Newbies and does allow for relatively simple model editing, so long as you only want to delete portions of existing models.

I used to use Segeltuch for my shields.........but I learned this morning how to make shields in trueSpace 5.1, so Segeltuch is now going in the Obelisk of Light shaped Recycle Bin.

I have segeltuch. I really wanted to use it to hack of some stuff from some of the fs1 ships. Like take off two engines, and some guns from the valkyrie, you got an Angel scout fighter. How can I do that?

don't. you'd be better off using pcs to convert it to a cob and mutilating it from then.

I suck at using Truespace. Besides. I already hacked of the thrusters. I have a pretty good explanation why the engine stubs are there.
