do you think i should have the floating layer or should i have a window or a fixed layer

Cygnus Prime is another name for Deneb III. (which, despite the cutscene, was never bombarded by the Lucifer)

Thanks everyone for your help... I may need it when I'm done with what I've done so far.

I just completed the Silent Threat part of FSURP. Those missions were really sloppy compared to The Great War. How many of the 12 or so mission in the Silent Threat campaign were created by users/fans? Should the other 30 or so unrelated missions be considered canon?

(by the way, I have made two new mods overnight. Just retextures and model touchups, but for the Lilith and Leviathon. The Lilith now looks more menacing and the Leviathon looks... different. I also made the engine glow area smaller on the Leviathon to project the fact that its engines aren't as powerful as the Fenris. I also made a shield for the Aten cruiser to give it an advantage seeing as it's so crap. It works pretty good, you can fly through its pincers, but the shield lightup ani shows where it should. I'm going to also make an ejected pilot out of the edjo sentry and remove the guns 'n' stuff. I might not though, coz it could be crap. Oh, I also adjusted the subsystems on the Leviathon to where they probably should be, plus added a couple of others. I've added a bridge subsystem and 2 dock subsystems for where the dock points are. I thought that might be pretty cool for if your making a mission where someone's gunna dock to a ship that you don't want to, you could destroy the dockpoint or something. It would still need sexps, but it would work. I made a quick mission showing the advantage, or rather disadvantage, of having a bridge subsystem. If you destroy the bridge subsystem the ship plays-dead for about 30 seconds, and then it resumes. I'll post screenshots of the new Lilith and Leviathon skin if I ever get the net at home again...:doubt: )

A lot of the stuff here you can find elsewhere, but the most valuable of the data collected there is a listing of every plot point in FS1.  Emphasis on EVERY.  It's quite exhaustive.

Yes it is. Thanks :yes: . I hope you don't mean the design, coz that's just the raw data. But if you're referring to the content, then thankyou very much. It took several hours to compile and I'm not finished yet.

I'm taking a breif break at the moment because I just managed to find 8-9 new FS2 models, which I downloaded and fiddled around with. But I'm itching to get back into it, so I might get into act 2 tonight.

Kresco Engineering is another corporation, it's the contractor for the Herc2 and the Perseus in the FS2 demo.

Also in your notes Bosch is spelled wrong.

Vasudan Parliamentary Empire
Parliamentary Vasudan Navy

Always in FS the abbreviation for the Terran-Vasudan war is the:
V-T war

Also Hatshepsut is spelled wrong in the ship reference.

On a random fact:

ETAK is based on modulated quantum pulses. (this is from the command briefing for the mission Return to Babel)

On another random fact, one of the Silent Threat multiplayer missions deals with a device known as the Serkr torpedo. You might want to include that into the story as it does coincide with the ST plot.

Also be sure to include plot notes from the FS2 multiplayer campaign Operation Templar.

Thanks. I will assemble all of the extra notes, like what you said about Dave's House o' Fighters 'n' stuff when I make up the proper website, but until now, this is just the raw information. That explains my silly spelling mistakes. :o

I clicked on your Alpha Quadrant link, Pegasus, and just gave your Borg Cube and sphere a test against the Colossus the Hecate and the hades... All attacked the sphere first. The colossus was the last to be killed with the cube at 72% operational and the sphere at 14% so I flew into the sphere's opening and killed it from the inside, then ran like hell from the cube until the jump drive kicked in... The damn cube fired 3! Count them 3 borg torpedos at the same time one for each target! The battle lasted maybe 10 mins...

Thankyou very much. I'm glad my mod brought someone happiness. I'm very flattered.

I can't make new models, sorry. That's why I've only reskinned the existing models. Azonics Star Trek mod stopped about 2 years ago I think. He just gave up and left. The reason I haven't continued making the Alpha Quadrant Project?: There's about 3 people (4 now :) ) in the FreeSpace community that like Star Trek.
I made one mission in the Alpha Quadrant Project at the Utopia Planitia Shipyards - did I supply that in the download? I can't remember now.
