Ok, i have a model of a fighter that i created for FS2, but i have no textures for it. Now, i am aware of the texture Tutorials on Volition watch, but as far as i can tell they do not tell you how to create a UV Map so you can use just one texture map like the fighters that come with the game.

I remember following a link on the old :v: BB That lead to a tutrorial in 3D Studio Max, but i lost my link to it. If anyone has any idea what i'm talking about, or knows another method, then let me know. Thank You

There are a lot of UV mapping tutorials available on the net for MAX. If you are intending to do this in MAX then I highly advise that you get a plugin called chilliskinner, it makes mapping so much less painful and you can get distortion free maps.

There are great tutorials on the site as well.

Good luck :)

Get the last free version of Lithium Unwrapper. It's been mentioned on this board more than once lately. Do a search.
Be warned: This site's admins stole 100s of hours of my work. They will do it to you.
