Bah - how can you even think of comparing the whole nation of Canada to the 600,000-person city of Jerusalem?? :wtf:

Besides, for a nation the size of New Jersey, we have an incredible variety of terrain: Snowy mountains up north, costal chalk caves, beaches, hills, deserts, coral reefs (best scuba diving location on Earth), salt lakes (Dead Sea is the lowest point on Earth), ancient towns (we laugh at America's "old" towns.... 400 years?? Try 4000 years. :D ), live-fire military zones, minefields, bullet-ridden abandoned bunkers... Oh, uhhh... oops. :p ;)

Anyways, I'm gonna be taking a 3-weeker beginning mid-November: first a week in Switzerland, then 6 days in New Rochelle, NY, 4 days in Washington DC, and 5 days in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Anyone near those places? :D

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Yeah, but I'm not going to be all touristy - I'm gonna visit with a  friend in law school there. The timing may work out so that a really good local punk rock group from here will be in concert there at the same time - they'll be on tour for a few months. (but more on that beginning Sept 1st. ;7 :thepimp: ;7 )

Hey Th how come you are no longer "The Admin"?

At last I will have my revenge! ;7

I retired - against my desires I've not time to make false promises that I'll be able to help anymore. I've stepped down from official admin-ship to work on my own hosted site (not done yet... ISP problems) at my own pace.

However, since I'm the co-creator of the site I've retained full privlages - I just don't flaunt them unless it's needed :thepimp:

Heh, so you have less work to do but the same admin powers as before.

Now that's something I'd like, admin work without having to do anything. ;7

I know you've already did much...

Heh, since you put it like that I suppose it does sound a bit unfair - but in reality I'm not getting any real privlages out of it. I'm still hosting a site so the only real pro of it all (unlimited webspace) is put to good use. And I only use my forum powers when it's really necessary (and I haven't locked anything for a long time now!)
