Interesting.  I always thought the PRE tags were used if you didn't want to use a table and you wanted to line stuff up without the browser automatically removing the 'white' space

oh, and thunder or another admin... how come i'm never seeing any 'edited by: (whoever)' tags when someone edits?  i see them when a moderator or something edits someone's post, but not when the person that posted edits it.  is it just me or is there an error or have you removed that option

You know a better way to test something? Hit the PREVIEW button, then when your done testing, abort the message.
