i had to vote for the intro, becasue it is the best one in the game, but none of the cutscenes in fs2 were really to great. The ones in Fs1 were excelent, (Hall Fight, and one of the best game intros ever) and after those the ones in Fs2 were a bit of a let down.

I agree, the intro in the first FS had a mood, it was impressive as well.

The FS1 intro really isn't quite that fantastic either. Better than most, but still... eh. I guess, mostly, I'd just been hearing about it for so long before I got the game.

But yeah. Hallfight was pretty good. Aaaand... I dunno, maybe Colossus. The supernova one woulda been cool, but I got so damn sick of the billions of friggin' immortal Sathanases that further Shivan superpowers were excess upon excess. Enemies should be excessively powerful, but not so much so that it expands beyond sense of proportion- which is why I liked the Lucy, even if it had some cheesy concepts.

don't forget it's old. I bought FS1 much later, when it was already old, and was impressed by the intro ( but not the hallfight... ). When FS came out, all those cutscenes must have been awesome for the players.

Its not just the videos that feel different - there was something special about fs1 that fs2 couldn't recapture, despite being a great game. The Great War was groundbreaking - its like someone expecting Half Life 2 to be as special as the first - it can't happen.

fs2 was great, fs1 was better.

The FS2 Bosh cutscenes are way deeper than the stuff in FS1.

And in my opinion the FS1 is still one of the best intros I've ever seen.
