But I remember this game... or maybe it was something else but... my {brother, father, dead twice-50th-removed uncle} played this. Well actually he didn't it was the demo, which somehow was on a compilation CD of compilation CDs.
You see, in my country, we could not ever get this game again. There was exactly one copy made and shipped out to my country (for some reason I get paid to say "my country" without saying what it is) and shipped out to me.... ANNNNNND MY BROTHER SCRATCHED THE DISC LOL
Also, for some reason, I have the Box, artwork, manual, literally everything else but {no CD / the CD is super-scratched}

Ok guys I just booted up the game and everything looks like s***... I want the same experience I remember from 20 years ago when I was just like 5 or something and I could barely remember it BUT it was like WOW this amazing space game or something! Yeah I want THAT!
When is {steam / volition / EA sports???} going to get their a**es in gear and UPDATE THIS GAME! I am willing to go to the ENDS OF THE EARTH TO PLAY THIS GAME AGAIN but it HAS to be on Windows {7, 10, 11, 12}, as sourcing an old PC is impossible as we all know. Volition is like, some guys, who were like, made this game, and obviously they care about it 20+ years later woooo yeah so let's see an update for Window! I don't know what I'm talking about, btw.
Ok look, there is no way that Volition released the source code way back in 2002, as we already mentioned, I went to sleep in 1999ish and woke up now, so it is impossible for that to happen, also I don't know what source code is. Blahblahblah blah, you see, releasing something for free cannot possibly work, as I have never been involved in the video games industry at all but {30 paragraphs of "how I think businesses work"}
I KEEP SEEING HIGH RES VIDEOS OF FS2 ON YOUTUBE SO HOW ARE THOSE GUYS DOING IT? THEY MUST BE USING "SOME SECRET WAY" OR "SOME SECRET THING" BUT THAT THING CAN'T BE FSO, BECAUSE FSO IS A VIRUS. AGAIN, I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING.
Just open reg files and modify all this sh1t, to get some literally garbage 1998 experience, that's how the original developers (Volition? EA Sports? Ford Motor Company?) "expected u" to play the game, you will be ruining the memory with this "high res graphics" sh1t, also I DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH AND I END SENTENCES LIKE THIS
