Hmmm. It also appears that despite knocking up the last-post time-stamp, it doesn't actually edit the poster name thingy. That seems somewhat retarded.

Methinks vB3 needs to be given internal and external time-stamping (ie public-display one and a hidden one for usage by the dynamicnessness of the boards).

Why? It shows the topic is still active... information is still being placed in the thread and thus it gets bumped back to the top. I don't see a problem :)
