Interface ^~^~Sweet~^~^
LOL, i think it's so awesome... you guys won't believe how awesome the 'interface' for this thing looks

here's the first slide.  the resolution isn't as good as it should, cause i saved it as a low quality JPG using Microsoft paint :p ;) and also the logo isn't that good resolution, but it's awesome when you actually view it really!  Thanks for the logo Shrike!  it works! :D :D :D :D :D  :

That's the main page as he clicks 'full screen'...

and

This is an example of a slide, with 'back', 'next', and 'close' (closes the full screen window)

I'll post the actual slide show tomorrow, as i'm mailing the CD tomorrow morning

Expect it sometime next week icespeed :D

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. Well, yeah that's your setekh card, but i i didn't use it for the interface... i just used it to show what a slide would look like... (with the buttons and all)... the interface is the HLP logo, which is good, but not AS good quality when it's blown up to an 800x600 size :D lol... nonetheless, he'll recognize it :p

i'll post it this evening

Erk - I just put two and two together. Don't force it to go fullscreen. Setekh runs at 1600x1200 and up, and fullscreen Flash at those resolutions is slow as molasses.

no one told me what resolution he runs in!  i had hoped he could (would) change it to 800x600... what they're meant to be viewed at.  also his computer should be fast enough to view the cards in full screen, but he doesn't HAVE to click 'fullscreen'... he can view them on his browser if it's big enough (resolution) to view the cards completely... and like, what's cool is if he wants to view a card in its true form (full screen) he can click launch or something and that'll Javscript him to the fullscreen mode... then he can click 'close' at any time, and he'll be... well... 'closed' and he can continue in regular browser

you're right though, i didn't think of that.  but that should be easy to integrate, especially at the stage i'm in in it.
