Poll: Knossos.NET Default Filters
Hi everyone!

Someone on Discord suggested having a default filter for mods in Knossos.NET to make things easier to find.  I asked in the channel, but not many people seemed to have an opinion.  So here's a quick poll.  This filter would apply to new installations (where filters have not been chosen) only and would mostly be in place for *new users*.

If we end up implementing this, and you feel like your mod should *not* be filtered out by default but *is*, let us know and we can adjust the general resources repo to fix that.

Please answer as soon as you can, so we can get 1.3.1 with some bug fixes and QOL improvements out the door! Thanks!

Re: Poll: Knossos.NET Default Filters
In my opinion, the only things that should be filtered out are categories which are of 0 utility to players. Assets packs, dumps, anything technical. If a normal player would want it, then it should be displayed by default.

Re: Poll: Knossos.NET Default Filters
That sounds equivalent to option 3, because it *should* include all fs and non fs gameplay mods, but if you have examples of filters excluded by that which should be included, please point them out.

I think the more categories we have, the better. :) Right now, everything is crammed together and that may be confusing for new players.

Actually, there is a simple categorization, however it is very simple and hidden. I assume that many Knossos users (such as me :D) didn't notice this categorization initially:

And to clarify, this poll is to decide which of the options in that screenshot to have pre-selected the first time you open KnossosNET.

Re: Poll: Knossos.NET Default Filters
I think this is a very good idea, especially for new ones who can quickly be lost.
A default filter could really help to make the interface clearer from the start.
As long as it remains easily modifiable by the user, it seems to me to be a good compromise.
And if some mods are filtered by mistake, the fact of being able to reinstate them is reassuring.
It makes the experience smoother without preventing exploration later.
Thanks for all the work on 1.3.1, can't wait to see the improvements in action!
I vote for the addition of the default filter.
