In other words... most of the OPTs have already been converted and are in Internal. We can't use them for the final release, though; only for reference and light FREDding. Darksaber, TG, and XWAU are not our friends.

I was not aware of any friction/dislike beween the two groups... I visited the sites as a XW-A fan/player as well as a FS2'er... I read all the websites and saw the standard "give credit-:blah: " and decided on my own to see if this could be done. I thought I hit gold when I found opt2pjr(?) cause I knew 3dEx could open those files. turned out not so good, but then found Opt23DS! I appreciate the comments on the conversion part, but if you guys (A) cannot use them, (B) will not use them [get the holy water!] then I am both respectful but saddened. This however does not affect my plans for a future inclusion in the all-mod (my own personal playground ), as an individual and not an "Official mod team".

   I look forward to your finished efforts (as we all do I'm sure) and will continue to give my support to your endever. May the Force be with you!

there is no friction:)
simply they are very protective with their artwork and only in few cases they let others use them, its their policy. A lot of time ago others asked permission to use their models in fs2 with negative response, and i think that GE asked again with same result
if they will change their mind we will surely be happy to use their artwork
personally i disagree with this point of view, i can understand a company to be protective with his own work, but with non pro artwork not only i think that being overprotective is useless, but also i think that it is a proud if others ask you to use your artwork(with some limitations obviously), because it means that you have worked well

Yeah, I spent a LOT of time this week end looking around and readind "Terms of Use" agreements and so far haven't run into any conflicts. I guess I'll be slowing down on the SW stuff them since though they seems to work fine (except for most cap ships) the main reason I got excited was the gunboat and Dragon's heart, and SSD... I've gotten my fill now time to move on...

Looks like some really excellent work guys!  Hopefully you get some really well thought out and balanced tables in there as well so its a whole lot of fun.  Keep up the good work!

Just a minor niggle.  That A-Wing....there's only one crossbar on the cockpit as far as I remember.  Is this a special version (two seater?) or is there a reason for doing this?  Just thought I'd point that out.  Otherwise, keep this up....I want to add this to my collection of /data tree's at some point!

He's also fully qualified to pilot TIE Interceptors as well as Lambda shuttles. His ground skills are not to be underestimated, either; with an ingenious plan, he managed to...expose...a troublemaker within the Wraiths, if you get what I mean
