There's nothing like playing that mission on PXO with 3 other guys heh...

I finished the game 'bout two weeks ago again, prolly for the 10th or so time :D Now I think I'll go get the FS1 port :)

I haven't played it (the main campaign) in a month or so, if only cause I got StarCraft. No, I haven't been playing it for a month yet, only two weeks. I have no idea how many times I've played it through... Many, many times, that's for sure. My favorite mission is the one that starts with Snipes yelling "DIVE DIVE DIVE, HIT YOUR BURNERS PILOT!" It made me jump the first time I played it. It was late at night, and the speakers where on loud.

Aah, this is something unforgettable. I jumped the first three times I played the mission. I forgot about the Dive thing, when I played it for the second and third time.

****, I haven't played FS in like two years.  I think I started the Warzone campaign but never finished it.

I only uninstalled both FS1 and FS2 about two or three months ago.

I saved capella just 3 days ago (for the 75th time) but right now, I am making Inferno and Shivan swarm missions. I know the main campaign just too well.

It's been a while since i've played Freespace, but i play a lot of Freespace 2 (not the main game, but campaigns and MODs for people).

i still don't know how to beat the last mission on FS2 (where you're escorting an orion)... that was like 2 months ago.

i went through the entire campaign (and all the "loop"s) on medium without dying once, and i got to this mission and died, so i stopped playing (i haven't played it again since, but i've got to try sometime)

i played for like 5 hours straight, went all through the campaign.  it was fun.  i can't wait to see the end-game cutscene though...

Clash of the Titans II isn't that last mission. Apocolypse is. Anyways, you don't save Capella. Capella is destroyed by the fleet of Juggernauts, remember? They should have called the Dreadnauts, Juggernaut doesn't sound like a ship.

Oh what these eyes have seen! :D:D

As for playing FS2, I've not played it properly for a while. I've been too busy arsing around with new models, weapons and stuff.

BTW - has anyone cheated in the main campaign by making one of the crapper and little-used weapons super powerful?

Speak for yourself.  After dedicating several YEARS of my life, a website, a massive thread story, and now a campaign story, I deserve a ****ing break.

Besides, I needed the room for my mp3's.  **** THE RIAA!

OK, what person (other than me) has saved Capella? 8 of you have said you did, but who actually has?

I haven't touched FreeSpace or FreeSpace 2 in a very long time. That was when I had Windows 98. Now I got Windows XP. just lazy to install FreeSpace 2 again.

Maybe I should start playing FreeSpace 2 soon.:D
