Ummm actually that's been around since the CHALLENGER explosion. Along with about 300 others that would most likely fit.

But back then we at least waited a month before making jokes out of it :P

Then again ... it is sort of a tradition ... many tragities find their way into becoming humor as a means of dealing with them.
