 It also happens that a thread in there does not warrant some vague thread posted in the general discussion area which generates spam more than helps anybody.

Now, I'm not discussing it further 'cause it'll eventually get to flames and the admins obviously don't appreciate that...

Agreed, and before it drops entirely I'd like to make a short appeal, people have been getting way to easily provoked into spamming, flaming or generally acting as 13 year olds in school might. It's got to stop guys, this is getting pathetic - it might be cliched but if you've nothing constructive to say then please don't say it.
