If I connected, you'd be shut down in ten minutes. I got more than porn and warez on here.

And, uh, how would you limit accesses? I don't particularly care if someone wants to get Ray Dream or learn Chinese and take advantage of a password cracker, but I wouldn't want people reading, say, my billing contracts and such.

Or taking my models when I can charge for 'em.;)

Nobody (in theory) gets access to any of the stuff you don't want them to see. The in theory of course relys on the fact that you're running a firewall and there isn't a script kiddie attempting to haxx0r j00r b0x. :rolleyes:

I find DC to be quite a good way of getting stuff.

Nah, ftp is the best way. I can give you links to a lot of games/apps/movies including RF2, SC:BW, etc etc etc. But not here ;)

DC is... nice, but not the best IMO.

I don't have a PC that can run anything post Y2K games-wize. I'm quite happy with my dreamcast games and farscape episodes. The reason I like DC is that you can chat to everyone whilst downloading, it's more of a 'community' thing.

These days I have everything I need. But when I got this new comp, I immediatly downloaded alot of apps :p And also, 90% of the games I got are iso's i downloaded and burned to a disc. Also, 99% of all the movies I watch are those I d/l and burn myself on a DVD disc :) I downloaded Matrix 2 today. I going to watch it in a few minutes ;7

Probably not. I don't search for specific movies/shows/games. I just browse and d/l what I like. Its near impossible to find specific eps etc

nice idea, closed sharing communities are alot easier to get things off of than massive groups (i.e. IRC, FTP, P2P networks)

Sounds pretty cool, but is HLP really big enough to make it worth it? There's 1000+ members, but only a few hundred are really active...
