"This is the genesis pit located in Iberia, a rather large, but "calm" one.
On the foreground you can see of the creatures called dragons due to their size and their hability to fly, just as the creatures in the ancient tales. Dragons are mutated lifeforms rather than a real species, every giant flying creature, of any shape or color, spawned from a genesis pit will be called dragon. They can't bread, and often can't live for long because of various genetic and organic flaws. They're instinct driven, and spend their short lives hunting.
Ages ago, swarms of them could cross the skies, destroying everything they would find. Nowadays tho, they're a rare sight if you don't travel near a genesis pit, and the few that find their way to a civilized area can be easily dispatched as battleships and fighter patrol the populated areas."
